Activism and Important Causes July: On this most patriotic of occassions in the US of A, so many spend their hard-earned greenbacks on fireworks made by foreigners. The real patriot would gather with other citizens or members of their town militia, all with their own firearms, and fire off hand-made ammo straight up in the air as celebration and may only the most fit survive the hail of pure lead patriotism. I enjoy games, but I do not play them very often. I like to think about rules, and look for interesting implications and complications that the rules do not cover. I explore the boundaries of the rules to see what happens when they are pushed and tested. |

Sometimes I just have to wonder about something for a while. I may come up with something or keep it around in case an answer shows up. I tend to find something interesting and then follow that to see where the journey takes me. Okay, if you can help answer this, let me know. The Scots in Scotland and Ireland were Protestant (Presbyterian). So, why, oh, why do Catholic school girls wear plaid? The only answer I've come up with is that the fabric was inexpensive, comparatively. One day in High School, in Introduction to Physical Sciences class, one of the jocks, upset at me for some remark or other, turned and said, "You think you're so smart. You probably think you know the answer to which came first: the chicken or the egg." My answer was, "As a matter of fact, I do." You know you've always wanted to know about ancient egyptian underwear, so take a peek.
